Festilitt 2026
We are thrilled to announce the list of writers joining us for Festilitt 2026. The five authors who make up the English programme share a theme. Their characters, confronted with change, struggle to adapt in a world whose landscape they no longer recognize. The common thread running through their books is “How can we live together in this strange, new place?” An urgent question in these turbulent times.

Alongside literary discussions and ideas, this year’s festival embraces visual storytelling and music—from comic-book adventures into prehistory to the powerful sounds of rock’s poetic voices.
There are 14 candles on Festilitt’s (home made) cake. Be with us in Parisot from the 9-11 October to help blow them out!
