FESTILITT is a literary festival that nourishes the palate as well as the mind !
On Saturday, October 12 at noon, we’ll all enjoy a meal lovingly prepared by our volunteers for the modest sum of 7.5 euros. Outdoors, weather permitting, and guaranteed good company !
Saturday evening, it’s the authors’ dinner at the Vailhourles village hall. An opportunity to talk directly with the writers, while enjoying a menu of outstanding gastronomic quality ! Please note that advance registration is required (30 euros, meal and wine included).
On the morning of Sunday October 13, both the French and, for the first time, the British, will meet for an original event: the literary breakfast. Coffee and croissants, and the authors who’ve been asked to tell us about a recent book that has moved them or influenced them over the past year.
On Sunday lunchtime, a food-truck will be on hand near the La Maison bar.
And, as the icing on the cake, (so to speak) during the afternoon breaks between two meetings, tea or coffee and homemade cakes and baked goods will be generously offered around.
